When a new blogger creates his own blog, the first thing he can think of is how his web page will appear in Google search results. If you are a beginner and are looking for this answer, the only answer is to improve On page & Off Page SEO where SEO represents SEO.
In this article, I'll show you what dofollow and nofollow links we'll discuss and also how it affects the order of your website page.
The difference between Dofollow and Nofollow links.
Nofollow links stop tracking links (quality and value of links) from spreading to other pages. On the other hand, the dofollow link tells Google (sometimes called search spiders) to follow the link and index the page, so the page is affected by the value of the linked links.
What is a Nofollow link?
If the nofollow link is set, then Google will not crawl the link and this link will not affect the site's ranking. Here's how nofollow links appear:
<a href= http://www.example1.com rel="nofollow"> Example1 </a>
<a href= http://www.example2.com rel="external nofollow"> Example2 </a>
Each of the links containing the nofollow keyword means they are nofollow links. Although the nofollow link has no effect, it helps you bring traffic to your website. Google does not follow these links, but other search engines respect them, which I explained in detail at the end of this article.
You can also create a complete article for nofollow with the help of the following code tag, you can add the following code to the page header or post. All links on the page will be treated as nofollow even if they do not have a nofollow rel tag.
<meta name = "robots" content = "nofollow" />
How to check whether the links are dofollow or nofollow?
There are many ways to check for dofollow and nofollow links, but I prefer method 2 to determine the type of link.
- Method 1:
1. Right-click on the webpage and click "View Page Source."
2. Find the link you left in the source code, and press Ctrl + F and find the name of your website or comment. You will find the source code of the link.
You can now see whether your comment is dofollow link or nofollow link, and you can also set up a blog list that gives you a nofollow link when you comment.
- Method 2:
Right-click the link and click "Check item" and you'll see a html icon for the back link. You can easily check the rel attribute and determine the type of link.

Comments on other blogs are probably the easiest and quickest way to create good backlinks, but do you feel deceived when the link you left in the comment is nofollow? I prefer to comment on a blog that rewards a link
How do search engines interpret dofollow and nofollow links?
Although all engines that use a nofollow value exclude the links you use from the ranking, their exact interpretation varies from search engine to search engine.
Google remembers that its engine takes "nofollow" literally and does not follow the link at all. However, experiments conducted by SEO experts show different results. These studies reveal that Google follows the link, but does not index the linked page unless it's already in Google's index for other reasons (like other links dofollow).
The Bing engine respects the nofollow attribute with respect to not counting the link in its order, but it is not proven whether Bing follows the link.
